Character & Civics

The little red schoolhouse of the past was a cornerstone of a community.  Students were neighbors whose families relied on each other to work together for the betterment of each other and their world.   They needed to fulfill their responsibilities, work for justice, positively contribute and were reminded through their education that their actions would affect their neighbors, their country, and their environment.

At American Schoolhouse, we work to encourage a sense of the importance of being an involved citizen in one’s world and a person who possesses character traits that positively affect others.
